Oshun -renewal and rebirth

Greetings

Part of what strikes me in reading the stories related to Oshun and in my experience of Her which I do not often her spoken about is the way She is often able to take a situation insolvable by any of the other Orisha and turn it to the good of the human community.

I think of how without Oshun the first Orishes could not pave the way for human civillization
I think of her ability to ease the way for Ogun to come to civillization

That creative female power which She shares with Yemaya seems often to get underplayed in favor of her sexuality and power in terms of fertility..or on the other hand liited to creating Peace in the Home (a form of human civilliation).

I have had difficulty relating my energy to Oshun's in regard to the typical depictions of Her. The sense of Her as JOY --real Joy in the order of things ..fits well.. but I find the more I know Her the more I find the way I relate and triangulate Her energy is more about renewal and rebirth in the sense above.

I am still struggling to understand (in thought and in my bones) the connection between this and Oshianian Joy.
