1. How do you define Olodumare?

Oludumare (God) is viewed as THE Creative force that is responsible for creating the Universe. He/She/It has no human personification

2. It's possible that Olodumare is a conception imported from the Islam and Christian presence in yorubaland, and there is no god above Orisa?

No.

3. How do you define «Orisa»?

Orisa are eternal energies that make up the non-physical Universe. The Yoruba identified many and learned how triangulate with specific energies for improving their life. “They” are not people or Disney characters. This is yet another case where the metaphor replaced the reality.

4. How do you define «ase», the primordial energy?

You have just defined it correctly. Commonly it is used to describe Human’s eternal energy (dispensing with the fear/problem of death as energy cannot be created or destroyed it can only be changed) as well as a measure of level of that energy.

5. How do you interpretate the «ori»?

Ori is a considered bot orisa and condition. In human’s our Ori is determined at the instant of conception in the domain of Ajala Mopin. It is a complex concept including Destiny of the individual, Life Path of the individual (selected by individual to achieve Destiny), selected primary orisa based upon what triangulated energy would most easily allow fulfillment of chosen Destiny, Primary ancestral energy, gender and other physical qualities.

6.*What are*the concept of death and funeral rites in yorůbá culture?

As the Yoruba correctly understand that death is simply the manifestation of a change in our current energy pattern - much like the caterpillar turning to the butterfly - the rituals and rites are meant to smooth the passage and transition for the individual in question.
